A perfectly solid hotel room on a loooong stretch of Baja Norte that does not have much lodging. Clean, basic, modern, American-style room had 2 comfortable beds, heat and A/C, a nice bathroom and plenty of space. This hotel is the go-to stop between TJ and Guerrero Negro and has a restaurant/coffee shop onsite. Room was quiet despite hotel's location on the main drag. Warm and efficient staff. Somewhat pricey for the area and amenities, but not many other options nearby and assume HVdV is smartly capitalizing on this
Pet friendly rooms - be sure to book directly with hotel and not 3rd party site so you can be assured you get a pet friendly room. Those pet friendly rooms are separate from non-pet rooms. Family owned establishment, everyone who works there is super nice! Clean rooms, love having real keys to let you into rooms! Restaurant on site, good food and fairly affordable. Will be back next time we’re in the area.
Comfortable no-frills hotel, clean, good water pressure. Restaurant had good lunch, but the breakfast was a little disappointing.
This place is strangely spacious which makes it seem like a great choice. However, the walls are too thin and the corridors creat lots of echo at night, making it hard to sleep all through the night. Don't get me wrong, it is quiet and the rooms are nice and spacious, there's a TV, and it's not pricey at all. The best thing was the breakfast, check out their buffet. The people at the reception are nice and the security cameras seem to do the work.
We only ate at the hotel's restaurant - we did not stay at the hotel. But ... The food and service at the restaurant were outstanding. We are looking forward to our future return to the restaurant. FWIW, the hotel looked very nice, as well.
A decent place compared to Mexican standards. Restaurant in the property is definitely a plus. I've been offered free coffee at the restaurant. Food is good. Very friendly staff.
Great food. Great hotel. Stayed on the trip to Cabo and on the way home. The owner, Ricky, is a great host and goes to all ends to make sure you are satisfied. 5 years and couting.
The hotel was good enough. A nice clean although room service does go into your room regardless of you putting a keep out sign or not. The best part is that the beach is a stone throw away and for the most part completely alone.
